Pass types: the details
Regular conference pass (Early-Bird price £369, then £449)
With this pass you have access to all the conference sessions and activities. All meals during the conference (snacks, lunch and dinner) are provided, as are drinks. Your room is booked from April 12th to April 15th, so we recommend that you arrive on Thursday afternoon or evening in order to be fresh for the first talks on Friday morning. Please note that although food and drinks are not included during the day on Thursday, there will be plenty of eating options around the venue. There will be a variety of informal activities, including workshops taking place on Thursday afternoon.
Partner pass (Early-Bird price £269, then £349)
This pass is meant for those who come to the conference and wish to share a room with their significant other. With this ticket type you get everything described above but you’ll be sharing the room (and a double bed; no twin beds available) with another attendee. Please note that you’ll be asked with whom you’re sharing the accommodation and that this pass is only valid if the other person has a regular conference pass.
Supporter pass “I ❤ Ruby” (£999)
This pass is a little over twice the price of the regular one and helps us offer more discounted tickets with the goal of running an accessible and inclusive event while keeping regular prices low. It includes everything from the regular pass (sessions, meals, room) as well as some karma points. We will also give you a shout out on Twitter!
Student/Community pass (£199)
This discounted pass is for students at a registered educational institution (secondary schools/college and university), people with disabilities, those out of work, and others experiencing financial hardship. It includes everything that is in the regular pass but for a much lower price. To guarantee fair access we reserve the right to ask for proof that you are entitled to buy this ticket. The availability is limited but we will increase numbers according to our budget balance*.
Passes without accommodation, Partners (Bed & Breakfast only) and child care will go on sale at a later point.
*Isle of Ruby is a non-profit conference. We try to keep prices low for everyone and to offer discounted prices for those who need it. This is only possible with the help of companies or community members who can financially support the conference. If you can afford it, please consider buying a supporter ticket, or let’s chat about sponsorship options for your company/employer.
